STINA is founded on two major ideals: style and sustainability. To reduce our environmental footprint, we use only eco-friendly materials in all our pieces, from the fabric, all the way down to the packaging.
At STINA, environmental friendliness is our top priority. We are dedicated to creating our clothing in a way that doesn't harm the environment or the people crafting our garments. We firmly believe that fashion should not come at the expense of our planet or the fair treatment of people making it. Throughout our business, we uphold ethical and sustainable practices.
Timeless Designs
STINA collection is designed to last a lifetime. We practice slow fashion and our collections don't follow seasons. When designing our items, our goal is to create pieces that you can wear for years to come. Our swimwear and other pieces that are coming soon are versatile and can be taken from day to night, regardless of the occasion.

Fabrics
We take our time to carefully research our fabrics to combine luxury and longevity so that everything we make feels both good on the body, and lasts in your wardrobe. We’re doing everything we can to minimise waste and use every metre of fabric that we order.
All of our swimwear is made from luxurious recycled Carvico VITA ECONYL fabric, which turns waste from landfills and oceans into regenerated nylon.
Italian Carvico Vita ECONYL®
ECONYL® is regenerated breathable nylon yarn derived from pre- and post-industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, carpet fluff, tulle, and other unwanted materials. Rather than sending them to a landfill, they are recovered and regenerated. Our unique, minimalist swimwear collection is then created using the byproduct of this unwanted material - Carvito VITA ECONYL®.
The reason we chose ECONYL® is that it reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90%. SPF 50 protection is infused in its texture, and it resists chlorine ten times better than other materials.
Compostable Packaging
As we are all aware, plastics and packaging waste have a detrimental impact on the environment. When you purchase items from our online store, we guarantee that your order will be delivered in a compostable bag.
Furthermore, we only use natural, recycled, or compostable materials for all of our online orders. This includes everything from our thank you cards, to our labels and address stickers. At STINA, we take style and sustainability seriously.
You will not find any plastic covers, bags, or packaging included in your STINA order. Choosing STINA means choosing an eco-friendly, plastic-free, and non-toxic product.
Our Factory
Sourcing quality materials from trustworthy factories and suppliers can be a challenge. At STINA, we believe in producing a limited number of pieces. We manufacture in small batches to promote our zero-waste philosophy.
A portion of the funds generated from every piece crafted by our supplier in Bali is dedicated to supporting essential causes, such as environmental conservation, women's education, and underprivileged families through the ROLW Foundation and Bali WISE.

Examples of how we work

- For packaging, we use honeycomb padder mailers and 100% recycled white acid-free tissue paper.
- Our hangtags and thank you cards are made from recycled FSC-certified paper.
- All our products come pre-packaged from our manufacturer in biodegradable tapioca bags, made from corn starch.
- All of our labels are made from recycled polyester.
- Our manufacturer donates 10 cents for each bikini they produce for STINA.
